unlimited bandwidth. We believe in offering true high quality
bandwidth at an affordable price. In the hosting world, their
is no such thing as unlimited. We believe that when other
hosts use the term "unlimited bandwidth" it can be misleading
in a number of ways.
When consumers decide they want to
place a website on the internet, they often think that
unlimited has no restrictions. But more than likely they will
have more restrictions than the company with a bandwidth
limit. Why?
1. Most websites only don't consume
a lot of bandwidth and disk space. Web hosting companies that
provide unlimited bandwidth or disk space are banking on the
fact that you won't use very much. Unlimited is a marketing
trick to get your business.
2. Unlimited
companies will put in fine print that they will not host sites
that contain forums, large amounts of images, etc. Those are
the items that consume a lot of bandwidth. So if they say you
can't have those things on your site, then they don't have to
worry about you using a lot of bandwidth or space. Which is
why they can offer unlimited.
3. Some unlimited
companies will also oversell their services in hopes of
generating a huge quantity of clients. If a server load gets
to high, If they oversell this means that your site could end
up loading very slow or not at all.
